One Fine Morning

Snatching time here and there. And just done posting this on my photography sites (yes, plural) and flickr. This was on monday? I think, and I can't even begin to explain how surreal the light was. These past few days have seen dark, gloomy skies - the sunny skies of June are gone - but we're getting some pretty amazing clouds too! This is my route to work, across the city center and along the coastal highway. I always drive slow here and look out for the sight of the mosque and Mt Kinabalu peeking over the hills. At around 6.45am, the sun comes up from behind those hills and the sight is always an uplifting one.

I stopped the car by the side of the road, and another car pulled up and then, yet another. 2 guys came out, and started clicking. Of course, I did too. I took in the scene again - I will never tire of this stretch of road, especially in the early mornings and evening. Then we silently got back into our cars and drove to work. Well, I drove to work. I don't know where they were headed. :-)
